Streetscape Lighting

This project involved the development of an urban lighting scheme with Wink Lighting and Dublin Dockland Development Authority.The aim was to use lighting to enhance the landscape architecure of the Campshire from Matt Talbot Bridge to the Macken St Bridge.A collection of illuminating techniques were used from uplighting of the trees to lighting the Famine sculpture and developeing bespoke lighting products.The artists Rachel Joynt and Killian Schurmann were commissioned to design a bespoke glass insert for the inground led fitting.Imagined as small portholes to the river,small sculptures of starfish can be seen in some of the light fittings.Relighting Proposals to the Shertzer Bridges,The Custom House and The Dart Loopline Bridge were all included in this project.
