Mc Garty Design is an Interior Architecture and Design Studio headed by Gráinne Mc Garty, originally from Dublin now based in the North West of Ireland. A qualified Interior architect for over 25 years she is adept at bringing projects from the conceptual stage to implementation and successful completion. Commercial Interior Architecture and Design is our area of specialisation working on a varied portfolio of projects. This includes offices, digital hubs, co-working spaces, retail, hospitality, restaurants, cafes, healthcare,exhibition and showroom design.

Graduating in Interior Architecture and Digital Fabric Printing from Dublin Institute of Design in 1994, Grainne developed her Interior Architecture skills further by attending the Aalto University in Helsinki.

Working with John Duffy Design Group for a period, Gráinne then joined Douglas Wallace Architects in 1997, delivering several high profile commercial projects.

Prior to establising Mc Garty Design in 2003, Grainne worked as Production Assistant for the TV show Beyond the Hall Door, and as Lighting Designer with Wink Lighting. In addition Gráinne has lectured at DIT, DID, Griffith College, and IT Sligo.

Gráinne is a member of the Institute of Designers of Ireland IDI.
