Restaurant and Café Design.

The W8 Centre,is a new state of the art tourist and cultural hub in the North West of Ireland. Mc Garty Design was tasked with designing award winning Osta Restaurant and Café. The design concept realised the importance of creating a visual identity for the interior. The restaurant space included a brick pizza oven constructed on site and terrazzo countertops.These materials informed the design direction with warm colour tones of salvaged locally sourced brick, bespoke pendant lighting in steel and bamboo by Leo Scarff Design, and classic Thonet bentwood chairs. The chosen paint colours referenced colours in the surrounding mountainous Leitrim landscape. The final result is a timeless, inviting space and has received a wonderful reaction from all its customers. Gráinne also worked on the meeting rooms and accomodation situated at the W8 Centre.
